Accessibility statement

Last reviewed: 7 September 2026. This statement covers the HurryHome website and web app at https://hurryhome.net.

Our commitment

HurryHome is designed to help students search for housing independently. We aim to make the service usable for people with disabilities and are working toward the accessibility principles in the European Accessibility Act and WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

HurryHome is currently in private beta. This statement does not claim that the service has completed an independent accessibility audit or that every part is fully conformant.

What we are working toward

  • Keyboard-accessible navigation, forms, buttons, menus, and visible focus indicators.
  • Clear page structure, descriptive labels, and screen-reader-friendly form feedback.
  • Readable text, responsive layouts, and support for browser zoom without losing essential content or controls.
  • Interfaces that do not rely only on colour, motion, or a mouse/touch gesture to communicate meaning or complete an action.
  • Accessible login, account setup, enrolment review, profile, notification, and payment journeys as these features develop.

Current status and known limitations

HurryHome is partially conformant with the goals above. The product team performs implementation reviews and responsive checks, but a full independent WCAG audit and structured testing with assistive-technology users have not yet been completed.

  • External listing-provider websites opened from a HurryHome match are not controlled by HurryHome and may have their own accessibility barriers.
  • Enrolment documents are supplied by users and may not be accessible documents. They are reviewed only by authorised admins and are not published to other users.
  • An audio recording of this statement is not yet available. The statement is provided as structured HTML so it can be read by browser and assistive-technology tools.

Feedback and alternative support

Tell us about an accessibility barrier, the page or feature involved, the device or assistive technology you used, and what happened. We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback and respond within 15 business days.

Email [email protected] with the subject “Accessibility feedback for HurryHome”.

We will work with you to provide the information or support in an alternative accessible format where reasonable.

Scope and review

This statement applies to HurryHome pages, forms, and web-app features operated at https://hurryhome.net. It does not apply to third-party websites or content outside HurryHome's control. We will review this statement when the service changes materially and after formal accessibility testing.

For Netherlands-based services that fall within the European Accessibility Act, the Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) is the relevant accessibility supervisor for e-commerce services. This page is product information, not legal advice.
